Hooray for the start of exiting lockdown! We feel like we have heard a sigh of relief from plenty of nannies and parents as a few more options have opened up for keeping little ones entertained.
Along with the weather hopefully only getting warmer, it feels like we are making some very positive progress!
Being able to socialise in parks and gardens with friends means playdates can start again. We know little ones have missed their friends and nannies have missed those precious play dates where they get to catch up with other nannies as well.
Sport and leisure facilities are open, and children will be delighted that sports can go ahead again – hopefully some of the sports shoes still fit!
For those with little ones, indoor classes and groups are running with up to 15 people socially distanced. Depending how old your babies are this might be their first experience of classes, so we hope it goes well and you have a ball!
Libraries are open again which will be great for those days that are still a bit crisp and as it starts to warm up, zoos and theme parks are open and ready to go!
We hope you are all making the most of the new conditions at your own pace, feeling safe and having plenty of fun. Here’s to (hopefully) a fun-filled summer and more little ones being able to have birthday parties this year!
